Q: How do I keep track of orientation in my images?

In the ortho view if the labelling is correct i.e Inferior, Superior, Anterior etc are correctly labeled it implies that your orientation is correct.

In the lightbox view, Go to Image -> Annotate Image and turn on the options called Automatically Annotate Lightbox, Anatomic Labels and Use as Default Orientation. Click on OK. This will annotate any image that you are working with.

When you are working with images in MEDx we suggest that you always have this option on to avoid confusion.

Further to prevent confusion between Left and Right we recommend that you always use fiducial markers while scanning.
