MEDx Frequently Asked Questions - Input/Output

Q: Why is it that when I move my images/folder I am no longer able to view the images in my folder?

When you save a folder MEDx does not save any images that you have opened from the hard disk with the folder. Instead there are links set up to the images in the hard disk. This is in order to avoid wasting space by duplicating data already present. However if you move either the images or the folder the links no longer are accurate and the folder ends up not bein gable to see these images.

In order to avoid this prior to saving the folder go to

Folder -> Folder Properties

and turn on the option called Save Pages Locally.

Now save your folder. This will create a duplicate of these images within the folder. Now moving your folder around or the images will not cause any problems.
