MEDx Frequently Asked Questions - Input/Output

Q: How do I read Bruker files into MEDx?

You will need to run the ReadBruker.tcl script that is provided below.

On running this script a widget will come up asking you for the directory where this image is stored. You can have only one data set in one directory and every data set needs to be called the same.

Now clicking on Ok will ask you for values of several image parameters which are described below.

Image Width and Image Height
Number of Slices/time point
Number of time points
The parameters called x size, y size and z size are the voxel dimensions in mm.
For encoding UI means Unsigned integer and SI means Signed Integer. R stands for Real.

Once you have set the parameters correctly click on OK and this will open your data for you.
