MEDx Frequently Asked Questions - MEDx Configuration
Q: Why does MEDx give me an error saying that there is very low paging
space and swap space?
There could be various reasons as to why this may be happening:
-
You could be really running out of swap on your system due to the
fact that you are reaching the ends of your system resources.
-
Your page file directory might be getting full or might not have
enough space and you might want to change it to a different location
- see FAQ
-
If you are running MEDx 3.2 on a RedHat6.0 system then there was
a compatibility problem with one of our system files, namely the file
called sysmon in the bin directory of MEDx. Please contact
medxsupport@medicalnumerics.com
for a revised version of this file. If you have MEDx 3.3 running,
then simply use the sysmon file available with MEDx 3.3.
